Over the past several weeks, Los Angeles-area residents have been faced with some of the most horrific fires in our country’s history. AccuWeather and others estimate the damages are already over $250 billion, and many think they will far exceed even that number.

Many people now have nothing more than the clothes and the few items they were able to take with them when they left their homes. And many Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices employees and agents in the Los Angeles area are facing horrible situations of no housing, food, or clothing, while dealing with immeasurable losses including family members, pets, homes, business offices, and so much more. And, as you can imagine, listings, homes under contract, and more, are total losses.

The Ebby Halliday Foundation would like to help. A special donation button has been established on the Foundation website to donate to one of the below causes - the choice is yours:

  • Assist the agents and staff of our sister company, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties. Donations will be directed to BHHS California Properties’ 501(c)(3), The Charitable Foundation, which is actively assisting affected agents and employees of the company

  • Support the American Red Cross.
